I’m a licensed clinical psychologist who has specialty experience working with high-achieving individuals (academics, arts, careers), challenging family dynamics, major life transitions, intimacy concerns, and trauma. Additionally, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and eating disorders/body image concerns.

I completed my graduate training in college counseling centers at highly specialized and rigorous universities such as Rhode Island School of Design, Harvard, and New England Conservatory. Through my experiences in these settings I worked with adults across the lifespan, from first-year undergraduates to second career graduate students. Counseling centers are highly utilized and time-limited. As such, I have strong experience in providing behavioral interventions such as CBT and DBT that are designed to give patients skills to immediately implement in everyday life.

While behavioral interventions are invaluable tools, my primary approach is insight-oriented therapy- this means helping you to dig deeper and build your understanding of emotions and thoughts that are happening far beneath the surface. This approach can help you to better recognize how your past is impacting your present and, importantly, gives you the power to chose how you want to build your future.

I am LGBTQ+ allied, sex-positive, and culturally informed.
